| Venice in Three Acts |

Travel stories are some of my favorite assignments. Trying to evoke a mood and feeling of a specific place and going beyond what photography can do has always been a challenge. These are for the travel magazine Afar about Venice, Italy. I want to say this was super easy and I nailed it right out the gates, but it actually took several rounds of revisions until I got something that really fit the story. I've been to Venice years ago but had a hard time finding a new way to illustrate this location without doing something heavy handed.
